Viewsonic MovieBook VPD550T to arrive in April; price expected at $199

This April, Viewsonic will bring to the market a charming piece of gadget that could redefine the way you watch your flick. The new addition to the portable media player range comes in the form of the MovieBook VPD550T, which Viewsonic expects will create ripples in the industry it belongs to.
Expected to be released this April, the Viewsonic MovieBook VPD550T would arrive as a device with a 5-inch LCD touchscreen, 8GB internal memory, microSD expansion, and an HDMI output capable of 1080P HD resolution. All these features in a single device come neatly packaged for a price of just $199.
The MovieBook VPD550T also can double up as a strict audio player which supports MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC ,OGG, FLAC, APE, AC3, and DTS audio formats. Besides, it supports ebooks, photos, and voice recordings too.
If that is not all, the Viewsonic MovieBook VPD550T has more to offer the video buff, by lining up a variety of support functions. True o its video player profile, support for DAT, MPG, MPEG, VOB, MP4, MOV, AVI, DVD Video, ASF, WMV, MKV, TS, and RM/RMVB come in handy if you are some one who cant survive without videos in front of you.
Battery life also calls for thumbs up, with the MovieBook capable of running 20 hours of audio and 4 hours of video playback.
