It is called the SVE00 and has been rolled out by First International Computer. The story doesn’t end there.  What we are talking about is First International Computer next generation Netbook, which would take on peers with its sheer beauty and performance. The SVE00 has all in it that could bring in the much needed user friendliness to the computer working experience.

Built to meet Intel’s Pine Trail-M platform , the latest FIC Netbook comes powered by a 1.66GHz IntelR Atom N450 processor and  IntelR NM10 chipset. The maker has also thrown in a 10.1-inch LED widescreen capable of running either a Windows 7 or the Phoenix HyperSpace Linux-based OS. The 10.1-inch widescreen, in fact, comes as a welcome feature for those who spent most of the time working. Further, a broader palm rest area and touch pad, something of the sort you have seen along with a 14-inch notebook add to the computing experience.

The company has also enabled a rotating screen function, and also multi-touch gesture on the glide pad thereby doing away with the mouse. The new FIC SVE00 comes strengthened with security lock holes to protect the system from theft. The keyboard has waterproofing enabled, while the LED light placed at the top of the monitor assists computing users to monitor network activity easily.

FIC has unveiled the device in two hues, Ruby red and urban white. Connectivity features have WiFi, BGN, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth WiMax. We will now wait for the price chart.
