Popbox Helps You Organize Your Home and Internet Media

January 4, 2010, By Radimir Bobev

Popbox is the latest product by Syabas Technology, and it’s a set top box which is designed to centralize and organize your home media, with the added capability of accessing web content as well. It’s relatively small in size, compared to other similar products – measuring only 7 inches in length, it should fit anywhere in your home easily.

The device’s video processor can decode 1080p video files with ease, and it doesn’t even need extra cooling – there are no fans in the box, making it completely silent – and also power-efficient, using only 15W of power.

Popbox works by scanning all of the content shared on the computers in your home network, as well as any servers you add. Afterwards, you’ll be able to access all of your media directly from your TV, streamlining your home entertainment experience and allowing you to concentrate on enjoying your movie, not fiddling around with cables and software.

All of these features are packed in a nice, clean and intuitive interface, which is the cherry on top of all the convenience this device already offers you.

Look for it around March at an expected price of $129.
