Everybody is expecting Apple to announce the iSlate, their tablet computer, later this month. Recently, the upcoming device’s specifications have been revealed – although not yet officially. IntoMobile seem to have obtained a list of the device’s hardware configuration, and if what they’ve posted turns out to be true, this is going to be one beast of a tablet.

The iSlate will supposedly use a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and have 2GB of DDR3 RAM, as well as a 120GB hard disk drive. It will also feature an integrated webcam, full 802.11n WiFi support, and navigation will be done through the use of a 7.1″ display with multitouch capability. The operating system powering all this is going to be Mac OS X 10.7 Clouded Leopard.

Something strikes us as odd, looking at the specification list though – it mentions a built-in projector, which doesn’t seem likely, considering the device’s design. However, if everything else is true, it should still be well worth its money – if you’re a fan of this type of devices, that is.
