Apple Tablet likely to start shipping by March

January 4, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Will the Apple Tablet ever arrive? This has been one of the most discussed questions since the start of the 2010 and bit earlier too. We have an answer now. Apple is indeed bringing in its Tablet. Going by what we hear, the device will start shipping in March.

It is being anticipated that, as has been reported by WSJ quoting sources, a 10 inch or 11 inch device will actually be available to customers by March. It is also being rumored that

Apple might announce the tablet later this month. However, no shipping date has been let out. The different people who write and say all things related to the Apple Tablet seem to agree on the size. According to them the new Apple device will come with a touchscreen sized about 10 to 11 inches.

It is also being said that Apple is in the process of bringing out two different finishes for the tablet.

Expected to come as a bigger version of the iPhone that would enable users to listen to music, play games, watch video or read electronic books, the tablet might be seen as a device that could support 3D graphics. A recent report had suggested that the price tag could very well be under $1000.

With the latest report suggesting a March launch, we guess we should wait a bit more for more details to come in.
