HTC Android touch tablet seen as Apple iSlate rival; to be on show at CES 2010

Cool gadgets that can set the technology world on fire would be the most sought after pavilions at the CES 2010 as the show gets set to open in Las Vegas next week. Among the many such devices would be one charmer of a touch tablet from HTC, which is said to possess all it needs to beat the Apple iSlate.

While there is talk of Apple gearing up for release of the iSlate on January 26, HTC’s touch tablet would be the one rival to be watched out for. If you would remember right, HTC has already made some big headlines after an announcement came about its partnership with none other than Google in the making of the much anticipated Nexus One phone. It is now being said that the CES 2010 platform will be used by HTC to privately showcase its Android-based device touch tablet that would be powered by the new Qualcomm processors, touch technology and new software from Adobe.

From what we hear, the touch tablet from HTC would sport the Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, which the company had earlier put into play when it made the HTC HD2. Meanwhile, the new software from Adobe which we are talking about could well be the much-anticipated Flash for Android plug-in.

Apple better watch out as no body can predict at the moment on what more HTC has to offer with the new touch tablet. We will wait for the curtains to go up on CES 2010.
