It seems like the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus smartphones might debut on Verizon Wireless. The feelers that emanate from among the industry circles have been telling us so, and a possible launch might come about soon.

With rumor winds bearing the news flying about, a handful of details have also been let out. Though the carrier or the smartphone maker hasn’t yet told the world as to what would the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus be like, we get to know that the smartphones would run WebOS 1.3.5. Another specification the smartphone would boast of would be integrated WiFi connectivity along with EVDO Rev.A.

Codenamed Russell (Pre Plus) and Romo (Pixi Plus), the two smart devices are expected tool identical to the earlier Sprint  Palm Pre. We do not have more details on the design or what goes inside. It looks like we may have to wait for an official announcement for more. Going by what the feelers are, the Plus versions from Palm are likely to give Verizon a high very soon.
