First it was the Corby. A new model with those elder brotherly looks then did the rounds with a charming effect on those who kept a watch. Samsung’s offering, the M5650 Lindy, is now grabbing headlines with enthusiasts in Portugal going crazy about it. The Samsung M5650 Lindy has debuted in Portugal for 149 euros (US$215).

Featuring a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with Cartoon user interface, the Samsung M5650 Lindy has all it to charm users.  The presence of a 3 megapixel camera, connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0, the phone also boasts of a microSD card slot, social networking support, FM Radio, one finger zoom, music player and dedicated music keys.

For the style-conscious, Samsung has provided the option of two interchangeable battery covers, hues of black and blue. Extremely trendy, the handset could be Samsung’s best effort to lure youngsters. With Portugal debut proving to be great effort, the Samsung M5650 Lindy is now expected to travel further into Europe and then into the Asian region soon. However, no talk of a United States; release has been on as yet. We just hope it would arrive in the US too soon.
