AT&T Now Offers the LG eXpo

AT&T are now offering the first handset in their line to use the Snapdragon CPU – the LG eXpo. The phone uses Windows Mobile for its OS, and features a 3.2″ touchscreen display running at a 800×480 resolution, 1 GHz processor, quad-band GSM support as well as tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, and a camera that shoots at 5 megapixels and comes with autofocus and 5x zoom.

There’s also a QWERTY keyboard which slides out for your input convenience, the device is equipped with a GPS as well, and it supports Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi. A curious thing about the eXpo is that one of its most important accessories, the removable pico projector, doesn’t seem to be available for sale, and there hasn’t been any information on it.

The phone costs $299 and there’s a $100 mail-in rebate, which brings the price down to $199 if you make use of it – and you’ll also sign a two-year contract. Not a bad deal for this little beast, so if you still don’t have a current-gen smartphone, go get the eXpo now.
