Piixl Edge EdgeCenter 3770 arrives to boost flat panel TV capabilities

For all you minimalists out there, here comes the Piixl Edge EdgeCenter 3770 computer. A media center PC that comes sans any wire whatsoever, the new device is being touted as the thinnest full powered personal computer ever.

The Piixl Edge EdgeCenter 3770 may cost higher as far as we know, but then going by the specifications every penny you spend could be worth it. Or, so we are told. No visible parts, no chords and no airs about that. A perfect fit to those who feel that minimalism counts. To sell for around $4,050, it would have under the hood an Intel C2D E8400 Processor, 2GB of RAM, 500GB HDD and DVD writer.

Placed behind any VESA-compliant flat panel TV, 37 inches or wider, the Piixl Edge EdgeCenter 3770 is just 30mm in thickness and comes integrating top of the line AV components into a standard flat panel TV.

An absolute high definition media center PC, the EdgeCenter 3770 has been built to support instant access to a Blu-Ray/DVD reader/writer, 4 USB 2.0 ports, universal Flash memory card reader and an ejectable 2.5-inch USB external HDD for large files transfers. It also comes with dual-link DVI and HDMI 1.3 capabilities. Integrating video processing engines, the device boasts of HD hybrid analog/digital tuners while additional tuners. You can also plug in a networked TV tuner to a standard or cable TV receiver and broadcast or record TV on this media center.
