AAXA Unveils the M1 and M1 Plus Micro-Projectors

December 16, 2009, By Radimir Bobev

Two new projectors by AAXA have been revealed recently, bearing the names “AAXA M1 Micro-Projector” and “AAXA M1 Plus Micro-Projector”. The devices are a bit big to be classified as pico projectors, so they’re given micro-projector titles instead.

Their dimensions are 112x105x46mm, and they each support a resolution of 800×600 pixels, running at 66 lumens of brightness. One of the differences between the two models is in the inputs – the AAXA M1 Micro-Projector uses a 3.5mm composite video input, while the M1 Plus offers a VGA input.

The user will have access to 1 GB of internal memory, with a slot for SD cards allowing for expansions. There’s also a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones or a speaker set.

If you’re looking to get one of the devices, you’ll either have to wait about a week or a month – the AAXA M1 standard comes out on December 21st and will cost $299, while the M1 Plus will cost $359 and will be available starting January 21st.
