ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 netbook to arrive on Dec 18 for $399

ViewSonic has made a late entry into the netbook domain. The new ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 comes in as the company’s new device, but for the industry it is just another netbook that has arrived too late.

The ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 comes incorporated with Intel’s Atom N270, a 10.1-inch display and 160GB hard-drive. Running Windows 7 starter, the netbook has connectivity features taken care of by WiFi b/g. Bluetooth is missing, somehow. A VGA resolution webcam is also thrown in as an addition. Storage comes with 1GB of RAM and ports include three USB 2.0, VGA, audio in/out, Ethernet, plus a 3-in-1 memory card reader. If you are looking for battery specs, the netbook will stay live for around six hours.

To arrive on December 18 to stores, ViewSonic plans to sell it for $399. May be it has arrived a bit too late and many other makers are already in the market with all these specs and more. However, no harm in checking it out as it debuts a few days from now.
