HTC’s 2010 roadmap got leaked recently, and it revealed some details about an upcoming model, the Legend. The device has just been shown to the public, and it looks very similar to the HTC Hero, both in terms of visuals and specifications. The Legend will use a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor – while it’s not anywhere near the Snapdragon in productivity, it’s still pretty fast – after all, it’s a processor designed for budget smartphones.

The CPU will be running at a 600 MHz clock speed, and the device will have 512 MB internal memory and 256 MB RAM. The battery is a 1300 mAh one, which, compared to the Hero’s 1500 mAh battery is nothing special. The screen is a 3.2-inch HVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, and the device also packs a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash and autofocus. There’s also a microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 3.5mm jack.

What really sets the Legend apart from the Hero is the optical trackpad, as well as the flash on the camera. Apart from that, we’re pretty much looking at the same device. Expect it to be released around March, if the leaked roadmap is to be trusted.
