Those of you who enjoy phones with a little more shine in them – like the recently announced Nokia 6700 Gold Edition – will be happy to learn that Samsung have also revealed a new device in this style – the Omnia I8910 HD Gold Edition. The device uses a 3.7″ display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps/HSDPA 7.2 Mbps connectivity, and 16 GB of integrated memory.

It also has a built-in GPS, a microSD slot – with a 32 GB card included with the phone. The device also has a 8 megapixel camera which can record 720p HD video, stereo speakers and TV-out. The phone also has a pure 24 karat gold lining, and a leather case enclosed in the package to make sure that you don’t scratch it.

Samsung haven’t mentioned anything about the price, but they have announced that the premium version will be released this month in some selected markets – which are Singapore, Germany, and the Middle East. It’s not clear about the rest of the world yet, but Samsung have promised to reveal more information shortly, so stay tuned.
