Release Date for the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 Confirmed

Many people are getting ready to buy the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 as soon as it comes out – however, those who expected to get it in about a week, on December 18th, will have to wait some more, as the device’s release has been pushed back with almost a month, to January 10th. Don’t be quick to be saddened though – the wait will be justified.
Sprint haven’t gave specifics on why the delay was necessary, but they’ve confirmed that the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 will support Wi-Fi, unlike the Verizon BlackBerry Curve 8530, which is already on the market. The device will also come with a newer version of the BlackBerry OS – 5.0 – which is probably one of the reasons for the delay.
For those who can’t wait, and wouldn’t mind not having Wi-Fi, there’s always the Verizon variant – however, BlackBerry OS 5.0 is something which should be worth the wait until January 10 – which is actually not so far away, so waiting until then shouldn’t be such a problem for RIM’s dedicated fans who want to get their hands on the latest and greatest.

Last paragraph… the 8530 isn’t from HTC buddy, it’s from Blackberry.
All 8530’s have wifi you need to do fact checking oh and how does it come out for sprint on the 13th of Jan and then on the 10th of Jan??? Are you serious? I like you but I also like truth… Please revise your post after some quick easy thorough fact checking.. =)
Hi Joshua, fixed. The date was a typo, while the “no wi-fi fact” wasn’t that well explained, I suppose.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment!
