Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition, bathed in 18 carats, to arrive in Q1 of 2010

December 9, 2009, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition is grabbing headlines at the moment. The newly introduced handset is all gold and no wonder it’s in the news so much. Being dubbed a classic showpiece, the Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition takes off from the Finnish maker’s most popular earlier product christened Nokia 6700 Classic.

So, now to look at what all does it have bathed in gold. From what we gather, it comes with a stainless steel shell with real gold plating of 18 carats. Beautifully packaged with luring surfaces and beautifully crafted exteriors, the  Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition  comes adorned by a full metal key mat and wallpapers that give it the top-of-the-line looks. Features include a 5 mega pixel camera, high-speed data access which enables easy upload of photos and videos to on-line communities and an 8GB microSD card.

Nokia has thrown in a bit of exclusivity to the new device by attaching a tag of Euro 370. Mind you, this doesn’t include taxes and subsidies. Matching accessories such as a leather carrying case and strap add a professional touch. The 8GB microSD card has been thrown in making the inbox a slot with much storage capacity.

We are told that the Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition would be available in stores by the first quarter of 2010.  Join us as we await the date to dawn.
