Brando have just released another device which can find a lot of uses, but may also take away some of your appeal while you’re using it. The USB wristband charger goes on your wrist, as you may expect, and uses a USB port to charge any device you plug in.

There are LED lights that give you an indication of the wristband’s current battery level too. While we can see the usefulness of such a device – for example, for gamers and people who like to surf a lot on their handhelds – devices like this should really be designed in more discrete ways that don’t scream “I’m a geek”.

Still, if you’ve found yourself running out of juice on your PSP while you’re far from any source of power, this may just be the perfect solution for you. For $35, there’s no reason not to buy one if the appeal factor doesn’t bother you – and knowing how technology is currently developing, a more compact version may be released in the near future.
