LG Expo projector smartphone likely to arrive on AT&T on December 7

Your next smartphone could come with a finger print sensor and pico-projector. LG Electronics has officially announced its next device that could sport these features. Christened Expo, the new LG smartphone would be available for $299.99. The phone could be yours with a $100 mail-in rebate, and a two-year agreement.

It is being believed that AT&T is set to provide connectivity in the next few weeks and the projector attachment is expected to be made available for $179.99. Talking of the projector, the optional pico-projector with the phone would come powered by a Qualcomm 1-GHz processor, which is speculated as a Snapdragon chipset. This accessory, weighing 1.8 ounces and projects an image eight feet, will be sold separately, according to AT&T.

The smartphone, sans the projector, would be reasonably sized at 4.5 inches by 2.24 inches x 0.65 inches. The LG Expo smartphone would run Windows Mobile 6.5 and would be made smarter with a built-in fingerprint sensor.

Features in clued a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.2-inch, 800×480 screen, Wi-Fi, HSDPA 7.2, and a 1500 mAh battery. Besides, GPS, Bluetooth, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and an FM radio are the additions.

We hear that the Expo smartphone might go on sale on December 7. Going by the features, we have decided to give it a try.
