The saga continues and Best Buy is ready to fight its competitors with deals that will blow you away, this time with a Sony VGN-NW265F/B notebook that only costs $480. Originally listed at $700, the new VGN-NW265F/B is meant to deliver high-def entertainment on the go, hence why there’s a 15.5-inch widescreen display, a double-layer DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with Blu-ray Disc support, Intel’s Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, a built-in webcam with microphone, a media reader and Windows 7 Home Premium to run the show.
Under the stylish black casing there’s an Intel Pentium T4300 processor, 4GB of DDR2 RAM memory, a 320GB hard drive and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) connectivity.
Other than the above, for the special $480 price you’re also getting a set of Sony ear bud headphones with in-line volume control and adjustable cord, Trend Micro’s AntiVirus and AntiSpyware software to keep your computer safe from Internet threats, and the The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 Blu-ray movies.
