BlackBerry Pearl 9100 (Striker) Sold on eBay Right Now
The BlackBerry Pearl 9100, also titled the Striker, was accidentally revealed to the public in a photo leak recently. While no official statement on the device’s release date or specifications has been made by the Canadians from RIM, the people have been speculating on those things a lot lately. And just now, an ad was spotted on Ebay offering the still unreleased handset.
With just one device for sale, the price was set rather high, with the option to buy the device instantly for $3,000. What’s curious is that no actual photos have been shown – the merchant has just put up pictures available on various websites related to the leak incident. The device is supposedly fully unlocked and completely unused too.
This all seems far too sketchy for anything good to come out of it – while there’s a slim chance that it may be a genuine offer, the possibilities still aren’t that high – and considering it’s a risk worth $3,000, maybe it’s better to just wait for the official release and get it at a reasonable price and be sure you’re not getting ripped off.
