Black Friday Deals Online : Electronics from Amazon

Its already Black Friday, and when I opened up my inbox today I wasn’t surprised to find a mail from Amazon’s mailing list, listing out all their offers for Black Friday. Turns out that they have some damn cool deals to offer. Since I am mostly a gadget-junkie, I will list out some of the cool electronics deals that I found. Almost all the offers are showing a discount of at least 40%. The email claims that “We don’t think you should have to camp out at a store to get a great deal.”. It does have some truth in it as you also get Free “Super Saver Shipping” on most of the items and hence it doesn’t cost anything extra if you shop online as opposed to directly from a brick-and-mortar store. Perfect for a lazy guy like me.

First up , is computer accessories. Storage has been becoming cheaper and cheaper for a while now. It had become somewhat stabilized with the 1TB hard drives offering most value for money. Amazon is now going to change that. They are offering 1.5TB and 2TB harddrives at some really cool prices. You can get a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5TB HDD at $97.99 and 2TB 5900 rpm version at $139.99. That is a discount of 51% and 44% on the retail prices respectively. So this might be prime to go out and buy some storage for all your movies, mp3s and all the other stuff. Let’s face it, you can never have too much hard disk space! Other offers in computer accessories include an HP Wireless Comfort Mobile mouse at $19.99, Sony MDR-V150 Headphones at $9.99 ( 50% discount ).

GPS Navigators are another set of gadgets that are getting some really good deals. You can puck up a Garmin nuvi 260W 4.3-inch GPS Navigator at $119.99 ( that is 48% off ) and a nuvi 265W/265WT GPS at $159.99 ( 54% off ). A much higher end 765/765T navigator is available at $209.99.

Laptops and netbooks have been getting a lot of attention from many retailers such as BestBuy and WalMart and Amazon doesn’t want to be left behind. While the percentage of discount is less on laptops compared to other products on Amazon, they can still help save a considerable amount of money. On an Asus Eee PC 1005HA, you can save $50 and get it at $339.95, while there are two netbooks from Samsung priced at $319. In case of laptops, they are offering an HP Pavilion DV6-1350US laptop at $769.99 ( that is a discount of $130 ), and a Toshiba Satellite T135-S1307 laptop at $599.99 after a $100 discount.

And they are also offering some damn cool movie offers such as a 2-Disc Widescreen Edition of Casino Royale at just $2.00 !! Yes .. thats just TWO bucks! Isn’t that much better than renting it from NetFlix ? They also have many BluRay Disc players for sale at prices less than $200. When it comes to BluRay discs, here is something that deserves mentioning. They are offering “The Dark Knight” Blu-Ray with Batpod at $32.49. Other “normal” BluRay movies are available from as low as $9.99 . BluRay movies available at $10 include Ice Age 3, Quantum of Solace and Gladiator.
