Movie buffs now have a reason to feel elated. Google has brought its Search for movies to your mobile. The new mobile version of Google Search for flicks would allow you to browse through cinemas around you and pick what movie you want to watch.

All you need to do is to log on to on your iPhone, Palm WebOS, or Android-powered device and do a search for ‘Movies’. When the page opens, click on the ‘More movies’ link. Once you have done that you mobile display will have a slew of movies as a list. You can also browse for Cinema Halls to know who is playing what.

Interesting right? Google has elaborated on the new app, saying the movie listings page has been further spruced up with the inclusion of buttons that play trailers on your phone. You can even get stuff such as ratings, posters of your favorite movie, show times, and theaters list. In case you are new in the city, you can even find out how far is the theater you want to drive to. The function that provides access to a map of nearest theaters is a great help who is so desperate to reach one in time for the show.

What we like about the new feature is that Google has ushered in an increased deal of readability and efficiency into the whole stuff. The upgrade, in fact, comes across as a welcome addition on our phones, so we believe. So if you are some where in the US, the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand, chances are that you have already tried out the new feature.
