Cadillac 2011 CTS coupe unveiled; to arrive in Spring

The 2011 CTS coupe from the Cadillac stables is due this Spring. Cadillac officially lifted the wraps off its new coupe to show off a design that looked almost the same as what it had showcased in the form of a concept at the 2008 Detroit show.

Aimed at luring the new generation of car enthusiasts, Cadillac’s new 2011 CTS coupe comes with the promise of being the car brand’s new range of luxury machines. The car maker has dubbed the new 2011 CTS coupe as its new point of focus with regard to technical capabilities as well as design.

On the design front, the 2011 CTS coupe comes as a 2+2 and turns part of the sedan and the wagon in the Cadillac range. The car would boast of rear-view camera and a performance-oriented suspension system coupled to rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

As we wait for the beauty to sail into showrooms this Spring, we get to know that the car would be powered by a direct injected 3.6-liter V-6 and six-speed manual transmission. It has been made known to us that the direct injection would aid the engine cut hydrocarbon emissions by 25 per cent on ignition. The 2011 CTS coupe would also boast of a 304-horsepower engine that would offer EPA-estimated fuel economy of 27 miles per gallon while on a highway drive. It would also run on less expensive regular unleaded gasoline, the car maker has said.

The Cadillac 2011 CTS coupe, as far as we understand, is set to redefine luxury on the road. We are just waiting to know what kind of a price tag the car maker would attach to it before we pounce on one this Spring.
