Blu-ray players head for Black Friday counters with unbelievably low price tags

Black Friday deals have never been so enticing. Joining the lure are Blu-ray players with price tags that seem to plumb the depths. From what we gather, prices of Blu-ray prices are geared to drop to unbelievable levels this Black Friday.
A recent Wal-mart Black Friday ad, obviously a leaked one, says a Magnavox NB500MG1F Blu-ray deck is set to hit sales counters for as cheap as $78! Complete with features as on-board decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio sound, the Magnavox NB500MG1F would also incorporate support for online special features on BD Live Blu-ray discs. Also on offer would be 1080p flawless video quality, DVD upscaling, picture-in-picture video commentaries and the like. The Magnavox NB500MG1F is not the only one in the Black Friday line up. Others hitting the racks include a Sylvania Blu-ray deck quoting just $89, and a few more.
Obviously, there could be a few shortcomings with regard to additional features. But when you can lay your hands on these Blu-ray decks for such cheap prices, we don’t see any scope for complaints. Who knows, as days go by we might even see cheaper Blu-ray player models heading for the Black Friday counters.
