Looking to get your hands on Creative’s “best audio player yet and their first ever touchscreen player”, the new ZEN X-Fi2 touchscreen portable media player, worry no more as the little device has started selling on the company’s website at $129.99 for the 8GB model, $179.99 nets you the 16GB, while $229.99 is what the 32GB PMP costs.

Without the need for fussy buttons, the new Creative ZEN X-Fi2 simply lets your fingers work their magic across the 3-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display. It brings an upgraded version of the state-of-the-art X-Fi technology that now delivers even higher levels of clarity than before, supports multiple audio formats including the much desired Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) and supports iTunes Plus for the unprotected AAC format).
As previously reported, the biggest drawback of the Creative ZEN X-Fi2 might be the user interface that is supposedly shocking slow — unless the company came up with an upgrade since they first introduced the PMP at IFA 2009.
