Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 Launch Confirmed

Shortly after learning that the BlackBerry Curve 8530 was officially announced for a debut on Verizon Wireless, we caught wind that Sprint will also get their hands on RIM’s handset. Apparently a Sprint version of the Curve 8530 may be out somewhere around the same date Big Red will release it and with about the same price tag, a company spokeperson pointed out.

In case you didn’t know, the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 features a full-QWERTY keypad, optical trackpad for easier navigation, 2 megapixel camera, built-in GPS, dedicated multimedia keys, 3.5mm headphone jack, 256MB storage space for your apps, a rather sluggish 528MHz processor, EV-DO and Wi-Fi connectivity.

How about the color guys, what’s with the magenta?
