Verizon Confirms Motorola Droid Tethering for Early 2010

Now if the iDont commercial series were not enough to understand that Verizon and Motorola are taking on AT&T and the iPhone, here’s one more. Today, Big Red has confirmed today that they’ll allow tethering on the new Motorola Droid starting early 2010, when the new Verizon Broadband Access Connect plan is in place, costing some $15 more, over what you signed for already.
However, don’t get your hopes too high, as there’s a 5GB monthly limit which is the same as Verizon’s standalone data card and USB modem plans.
Take that AT&T and iPhone users, DROID is getting better by the day!
