Lenovo has lifted the wraps off its new all-in-one desktop, christened ThinkCentre A70z. The PC maker, which had been providing sneak peeks of the all-in-one desktop via Flickr for quite a while now, is offering the new product as a must have for small and medium businesses.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre A70z comes across as a compelling alternative to the traditional desktop PC, comes powered by Intel Core2Duo processors. The company has priced the new all-in-one desktop at a cool $499. One aspect that we like about the Lenovo ThinkCentre A70z is that it has an amazingly faster boot up time. It can boot in 35 seconds and shut down 40 per cent faster than peer models. The manner in which Lenovo has packaged the desktop also calls for applause. The all-in-one is a stylishly made tool for the modern office, by any SMB standard.
The ThinkCentre A70z saves 70 percent more space, takes less time to set up and service and consumes less power than traditional desktops. Other specs include a 19-inch display and ability to take up 70 percent less space than a traditional desktop and monitor. On the storage front, the ThinkCentre A70z boasts of up to 500GB storage and there’s a DVD drive and integrated webcam, while WiFi comes optional. Going by performance and the price tag, we think the Lenovo ThinkCentre A70z is real value for money.
