Kids Online Guard USB stick to protect, frustrate and possibly train your kid in circumvention/hacking
Most parents are concerned about what their kids are up to while on the internet unsupervised. Here is another attempt at a solution to this. The Kids Online Guard USB Stick, protects the privacy of your machine and can be used to supervise/restrict your kids online time or his computer use in general.
While I assure you there will be NOTHING more frustrating ( to the kid ), it does do its job pretty well. It can set a time limit for the computer along with days in which the machine may be used. It is available at $21.69 a pop.

It triggers when it is plugged in and applies the limits on the usage of the PC. When it’s taken off, the machine should likely become locked out to everyone. Of course, it’s always possible that the kid, being not as dumb as the you think, may find a way to circumvent this. This may work for some time, you may end up with the planet’s next biggest hacker and this may well act as the ‘trainer’ for the budding reverse engineer/hacker.
