Yamaha Unveils Zero Emission EC-f Electric Motorcycle in Tokyo
With the ecology on the decline we sure need options like the zero-emission EC-f electric motorcycle/scooter from Yamaha. For starters, it is a two wheeler so the problem of congestion will not be an issue, and then there are no emissions so you can ride it as much as you like without harming the surroundings.
The EC-f electric motorcycle was showcased at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show and among all those green commuters present there, it sure has managed to make a name for itself.
The exterior of this scooter has been constructed using lightweight aluminum, and the commuter runs on lithium-ion battery and a 0.6 kWh electric motor. It has specially been designed for city dwellers who can contribute to the ecology with a small but effective green effort.
It does not require a special outlet for charging as the built-in battery can be plugged to any standard outlet. The EC-f was presented as a mere design at the event and now the admirers will be definitely expecting a more developed Concept at some future event. [via: Ecofriend]
