Get set for the Google Wave iPhone app

October 20, 2009, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Close on the heels of the Google Wave, here comes the Google Wave iPhone application. Aimed at taking social networking to destinations where you want to take your iPhone to, the iPhone app of the much-talked about real-time collaboration tool is expected to be rolled out soon.

Though highly anticipated, we learn that Google Wave’s iPhone browser support leaves much to be desired at the moment. The buzz now is that only a handful of users would be able to successfully get it loaded on their iPhone Safari and thereby get connected to the Wave platform for social networking.

Talking of the Wave, Google is fast garnering some third-party support. One of them Waveboard, a Google Wave Mac Desktop client, is also talking to Apple to get linked with the iPhone.

It is not yet known as to when the Google Wave iPhone app would see the light of the day. Join us as we keep a watch on when exactly this would arrive on your iPhone.
