New Nano

i have always liked the iPod players. i have owned two of the 3rd generation ones (i used one for recording and the other for tunes). i say owned (past tense) since the pair were liberated from me during a gig i was performing years ago. A friend bought me my current 80G iPod which also plays videos.
i was prowling for new gadgets when i noticed the new Apple iPod nano. i like the neat metallic blue color and the compact size. The screen to play the videos looks great also.
What surprises me iS the built-in video recorder. No, i am not surprised by the technology, just the fact that Apple iNcluded it in the iPod nano. i would have made a separate video recorder product.
A great feature included with the iPod nano is the ability to upload your pictures to YouTube, Facebook and other places where you can embarrass your friends or yourself. i do caution you to use discretion on what you film (i know iT’s digital but the verb still works) and where you record.
i borrowed one of these puppies and it works real well. iT’s easy to use and iT’s simple to carry due to iTs light weight and size. i was also chased iN and out of a few stores trying to lose the owner of this iPod. i want one!
When i get back to work and am healed financially, i will have to get one of these for myself.
You can look at the video features and sample videos by clicking on this link.
Disclaimer: Due to the new blogging rules I am forced to present the following information to you:
- I do own an 80GB iPod.
- No, Apple did not loan it to me.
- Apple did not give it to me.
- Apple did not even give me a discount.
- I paid full price for this device.
- Apple did not pay me for writing this article.
- Apple did not even offer to pay me to write this blog entry.
- The motion picture video results are not typical; if your hand(s) is(are) not steady the video will jump around; if you put your clumsy, fat fingers over the lens (even momentarily) the video will look like __________ (insert your own description here); if you are challenged at holding a device horizontally, your videos will look like they were recorded on hills.
- I do not own an iPod nano, as Apple has not given one to me.
- Yes, I would take and use one of these silky units if Apple provided one to me (hint, hint).
