Giorgio Armani Windows Mobile 6.5 Smartphone Makes a Fashion Statement

Renowned fashion brand Giorgio Armani has introduced its latest $1,000 Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone. Manufactured by Samsung, the smartphone aims at complementing designer suits from the famed designer.

The phone has both a touch screen and a slide-out keyboard. The Giorgio Armani smartphone runs on Microsoft’s new Windows Mobile 6.5. Buyers are expected to be an excited lot as this is one among the first phones that come with Windows Mobile 6.5.

A large 3.5-inch AMOLED screen, 5.0-megapixel camera, music and video player, high-speed HSDPA Internet, GPS navigation and 8GB of internal memory make the smartphone a fashion statement. The bronze detailing adds to the elegance. The multi-media features make the phone even more tempting.

The phone is, in fact, product of a brand alliance of portable electronics and household products by Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Samsung Electronics. Designed by Armani himself, the new device has all in it to show case Armani’s style and Samsung’s technology.  Further, it comes loaded with a slew of connectivity tools ranging from 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 5.76Mbps HSUPA to WiFi access. The full touch and QWERTY together provides dynamic mobile internet experience.

The smartphone will be available in Italy, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia, China, and Dubai at the moment.
