Sony, after hogging all the limelight with what it called the lightest laptop christened Vaio X, is back to grab headlines with a new stunner. The new computer called the Vaio L, is an all-in-one computer with a big 24-inch touch sensitive display.

Starting October 22, 2009, you can grab a Vaio L for $1300. Since the Vaio L is so slim, it can even be mounted on your living room wall, acting as a HDTV. Powered by a Quad-core Intel processor, the Vaio L also packs in a Geforce GT210M GPU. Other features include a TV tuner, an HDMI port and wireless networking. The huge touch screen display has been built on the company’s own X-Black technology capable of exhibiting 1920×1080 pixels.

The company, however, seems to have neglected a bit of attention to detail while rolling out the super slim touch screen computer. While you will be able to mount the device on the wall, the keyboard and mouse may have to find a place somewhere on a desk in some corner of the room! The alternate option would be to go for a remote control and a Blu-ray slot in drive. Overall, the Vaio L with its minimal design and brilliant touch screen has potential.
