Swordfish Net 102 Dual Netbook with Twin Atom Processors

Why on earth will someone club a couple of Atom processors and integrate it into a 10.2-inch netbook. While you keep pondering over the reason, the guys over Swordfish didn’t even blink-they readied a dual CPU netbook they call the Swordfish Net 102 Dual Netbook.

These developers were in some kind of a crazy fit while developing this product or else why would you need a couple of Intel 1.6GHz Atom N270s with 2GB of RAM and a meager 160GBHDD.

Those twin processors aren’t just the only twins as this netbook also has a couple of Bluetooth devices which come in handy for tethering to a smartphone.

We are as confused as you are and therefore we will stop poking you to help us justify the existence of a WCDMA 3G cellular radio built in. Well, never mind all this as the regular spec sheet includes Windows XP that runs this crazy system and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

The only sane decision Swordfish took was to price this product at $450 but even then, I cannot think of any buyers. [via: Engadget]
