LG GD 510-Pop- Coming Mid October

LG has quietly but smartly slid in the the GD 510 ‘Pop’, a phone that aims to thrive on the traits that made the Cookie a super success. A derivative of the Cookie family, the GD 510 ‘Pop’ is an entry level touch-screen phone that comes with a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display. While the Cookie has reached the 7 million sales mark and still counting, here is another option that could keep the LG sales rolling furthermore.

With this phone, LG intends to get even simpler than the Cookie and therefore LG is marketing it as the simplest and the most compact touchscreen ever made.

The Pop comes with a 3MP camera that captures high quality images and videos which can later be shared online or sent wirelessly to friends.

There is also a conscious attempt to keep the pricing down and although it hasn’t been announced as yet, you can be rest assured that it will be an affordable phone.

An affordable price that gets optimized features sounds a good deal. The phone is slated to hit Europe in mid-October. [via: BGR]
