Google Wave

Google Wave as per Google would be the next big thing in the world of the internet as far as online communication is concerned. It sure is an ambitious project and Google acknowledges the fact that there are a lot many glitches in the beta tester released today but everything is getting sorted out as per the company sources. Beginning today, Google is sending out 100,000 invitations to developers, first users who signed up and offered to give feedback and select customers of Google Apps — although rumors have it that 10 million are going to get it!

The beta tester is being forwarded to get feedback from these three aforementioned categorizes and people from these categories could in turn send further invitations to their friends and family members.

Improvements from the initial version released in May are of course there and the difference can be felt in scalability, stability, speed and usability.

As mentioned before, down times, crashes and bugs are a part of the system but those are all being worked on and the future beta previews would bear witness to those improvements.

Despite the present shortcomings, Wave is a good experience for communicating and collaborating online. [via: Googleblog]
