Packard Bell may not be a familiar name for you and hence doubting the technology behind the products bearing the Packard Bell moniker is no folly. The fact that Packard Bell is a subsidiary of Acer lends the electronics manufacturer a lot of repute and therefore you can trust the products without doubt. The latest product bearing the PB logo is Viseo 200T Touch Edition, a 20-inch touchscreen monitor which embraces multitouch technology.

Packard Bell is hopeful of good sales numbers as it expects multi-touch to rapidly expand and therefore believes that such mainstream exposure is mandatory.
The monitor is blessed with two built-in stereo speakers along-with a a VGA and a DVI port. As far as the main specs are concerned, the Viseo 200T has a 16:9 aspect ratio with 5ms response time and 50,000:1 contrast ratio.
The monitor also packs in Windows Seven multi-touch features which allow a user to control the screen with mere swipes and pinches. Available in October, the product will bear a price tag of around £200.
