The game’s official website says that “a world of property empire building on an unimaginable scale will be launched [..] Own any street in the world. Build humble houses, crazy castles and stupendous skyscrapers to collect rent. Use Monopoly Chance cards to sabotage your mates by building hazards on their streets,” and by the looks of it, sure sounds like fun.

Playing Monopoly City Streets will get you starting with $3 million dollars –obviously Monopoly dollars, and from that point onwards you’re on a quest to find a free street on Google Maps and to build your empire. Word is that London’s Downing Street is worth $231,000, while Washington’s Pennsylvania Avenue close to $2 million. As for your buildings, a house will automatically earn you $50,000 per day while a skyscrapper goes close to $100 million. The same rumors say that there are only four months to do the bidding before the game ends.

But the most interesting thing regarding the new Monopoly City Streets online game is that it costs nothing.

We can’t wait …
