Halo 3 ODST Pirates Face Xbox Live Permaban

Today, Microsoft began placing permanent bans on player playing the pirated version of their new game Halo 3 ODST. Xbox Live Policy and Enforcement Director tweeted this earlier today: “Hrm. I spy with my little eye some *illegitimate* ODST players. No early play for you. Commencing permabans.”.
In the latest game from the hit video game series Halo, the player takes the role of the game protagonist as a human UNSC soldier from the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers ( ODST ) team. This is a change from the earlier games in the series in which the players played as “Master Chief” or the “Arbiter”.
The pirated copies came out when one store released the game early and thus a few people were able to buy it early. Microsoft has said that legit users of the game who bought it early will not be penalized. The game is set to release a couple of weeks from now on September 22nd.
