Casio EX-Z280 and EX-Z33 digital cameras with HD Video recording ability

It is raining cameras these days and the obvious reason is that the year closing will mean holidays and people do look for fresh lenses around that time. Casio has come up with the EX Z280 and EX Z33 variants which despite belonging to the low-cost category are blessed with HD video recording capabilities.
The EX-Z280 is a point-and-shoot option with a 12.1 MP lens and a 4x zoom. As far as the unique integrations are concerned, 280 uses an Exilic Engine 4 processor and it can record videos at 720p HD.
The Z33 is a slightly inferior option with a 10MP lens and 854 x 480 resolution. Comparing the sensitivity again proves that the 280 is better option at ISO 3200 (thanks to the smart sensor) while the Z33 manages ISO1600.
Both these cameras will be shipping in September where the 280 will cost $180 while the Z33 will retail for $120. [via: Slashgear]
