Sharp’s Netwalker PC-Z1 Netbook can be hardly called one
Sharp is credited for designing and manufacturing some of the ‘rarest’ common products on the globe-if you know what I mean. Adding to that credibility is the all new Sharp Netwalker PC Z1 Netbook which is so small that you cannot assuredly call it a complete netbook. Its puny size can even put the likes of the 7-inch Eee PCs to shame.

I wonder what endeavors you can thrill yourselves with, when you possess a 5-inch netbook, but considering that people have a thing for such products, I’ll prefer not to be caustic.
This netbook runs on Ubuntu (that is surely a rare choice) and has an ultra-low 3-second boot time. The Netwalker is good enough to run for 10 hours on a single charge and possess an 800MHz Freescale chip, 4GB of flash storage and 512MB of RAM.
Well, I did say that I would not draw out my caustic daggers but, I am helpless when such a thing comes with a $500 price tag. Thank goodness this hasn’t made it to the US market and will be available in Japan on September 25. [via: Gadgetcrave]

I respectfully disagree with you about the “ubuntu is a rare choice” comment. It’s the number 1 Linux distro and has better usability than Mac or Windows. I’ve been using it for about 5 years at work and at home, I can do anything with it way faster than any Mac or Windows computer. It is the logical choice. Sharp finally got it.
Got something to say?
