Until a couple of days back, we thought that Nokia was in the teasing mood with its N900 and Nokia World 2009 will eventually be the place where the phone would be detailed. Surprisingly, Nokia has detailed the entire ‘speculated’ specifications and even the price for the smartphone that will be on display at the Nokia World. This smartphone brings a breath of fresh air from Nokia where the Symbian makes way for the Maemo 5 OS.
The phone comes with a 3.5-inch resistive touchscreen with 800 by 480 resolution. The QWERTY keypad slides out to the side and the rear has a 5MP camera with a Carl Zeiss lens backed by LED flashlight. Talk about storage capacity, this is one is a warehouse with 32gigs expandable up to 48GB with a microSD card support.
On the connectivity front you get-quad-band GSM/EDGE, 900/1700/2100MHz UMTS/HSPA which gives us a clear hint that the T-Mobile US users will soon get lucky. As far as the others are concerned, it will be available for purchase in selective parts of the world for €500. [via: Engadgetmobile]
