Dell Mini 3i Android Based Smartphone launched in China
This phone gave us a lot of hopes initially but then closer to its launch, we were sure what to expect from the Dell Mini 3i. The phone was officially unveiled in Beijing with the name Mini 3i not MINI 3I and as per the speculations, it will be a China only phone.

We did expect a lot from the Android usage but that too is secondary as the proprietary Open Mobile System takes charge and the Android is just based on it. (more images after the jump)

There is no WiFi (we know the Chinese hate it) and the connectivity is only limited to EDGE but that hardly makes a difference given that it is never getting out of here.

Other features include Bluetooth, USB 2.0, A-GPS, a haptic QWERTY keyboard and a microSD slot. On the rear there is a 3MP camera with auto-focus, flash, 8x digital zoom and 30fps video recording mode with photo-editing software.

It is not that bad an option for a Chinese consumer!
