Dell Debuts Vostro 10 Series [Entry Level Dell Vostro 1014, 1015 and 1088]
Given the prevailing market conditions, it is understood that the high-end lappies are definitely not hot and people are simply looking for variants that suffice the basic working needs. Focusing solely on this pattern, Dell has debuted three entry level notebooks from Vostro Series-1014, 1015 and the 1088.

The entry level choices (do not go on the name) are packed with a number of usable options that stretch all through the range of 14.1- and 15.6-inch Vostro business notebooks.
These machines include integrated optical drives, Intel Core 2 Duo processors and EnergyStar 5.0 certification. Also, you find four USB ports, gigabit ethernet and Bluetooth as standard.

The already on sale 1015 variant costs $386 and comes with a choice of Core 2 Duo M or Celeron processors supported by up to 4GB of RAM, 320GB 5,400rpm HDD, and GMA 4500MHD GPU which drives the 15.6-inch HD antiglare screen. Just to make your notebook a high-end baby, there is an option of a 2 MP webcam and Radeon 4530 512MB GPU.
These notebooks will not go on sale in North America for a few more months but, they are already up for the grabs in some parts of Europe, while the Asia Pacific and Japan region will get these notebooks today. [via: Slashgear]
