Whoever thinks Motorola isn’t keen on developing an Android based phone needs to reads this. After the Morrison spur, it is the now the Android based Sholes which is being speculated for a Verizon release and will hit the US market in October.

There are a lot of interesting details right from the name itself. It is being said that Sholes will support both CDMA and EVDO Rev A.
The regular features will include a 3.7-inch 480 by 854 touchscreen with 512MB storage and 256MB RAM. The memory can be expanded using microSD, microSDHC up to 16GB, while an 8GB card will be already shipped with the phone.
The Camera will be a 5MP variant with auto-focus. Connectivity will include GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, USB and Wi-Fi. We aren’t yet sure whether this phone is actually headed to the production floor either, but yes, if it does, Motorola will have something to be proud of. [via: Engadget]
