Gears of War 2: Dark Corners Release Date

After selling millions and millions and copies in only nine months from its last year debut, one the best tactical third-person shooter for the Xbox 360 is getting even better with the release of Gears of War 2: Dark Corners and the Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection.

The additional Dark Corners map pack will feature seven new multiplayer maps and a new single-player mission that didn’t make it into the original game. On the other hand, the All Fronts Collection is expected to sell as a separate retail package, and would feature a new campaign mission with a unique “stealth mode” entitled Road to Ruin. It takes place about halfway through when Marcus and Dom are underground trying to make their way to Nexus.

The two DLC’s have a July 28, 2009 (today) release date attached and should appear on Xbox Live for 1600 Microsoft points for the All Fronts Collection and 1200 Microsoft points for Dark Corners.
