Acer hasn’t been famous for top-notch cellphones but what lies in store for the future could change that repute. And it could happen sooner since it is being speculated that the Acer Snapdragon F1 and Android A1, along with L1, C1/E1 cellphones may debut at the end of September and beginning November.
So the plan has shifted from Christmas holidays to late September and it all augers well for the future of Acer. With this information, it is then being assumed that ODMs like Inventec (developing C1 and E1) and Compal (developing F1,L1 and A1 as OEM) should also hasten their plans.
It is worth a wait as these phones come with something special with the F1 housing Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, the C1, E1 and L1 running on Windows Mobile 6.5 and A1 being based on Android. Stay tuned for the official release. [via: Slashgear]
