MSI X-Slim X400: The Ultra Slim Notebook

Buying a slim notebook can be an expensive endevour but all that could soon change with the release of the X-Slim X400 Notebook from MSI. Although, there is no word on its pricing as yet, given the way MSI prices its products, be rest assured the X400 will be affordable compared to other slim options in the market.

The reduction in thickness doesn’t hamper the guts thanks to an Intel ULV processor which is well supported by a 4GB RAM and a 500GB HDD. Amazingly, the less than an inch thick notebook runs for 9 hours on a single charge which surely has something to do with the ULV processor.

Only weighing 1.5 kg, the X400 has a 14” HD 16:9 TFT-LCD display with 1366×768 resolution. There is an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics integration with other interesting options such as a 1.3 MP webcam, media card reader and an HDMI port.
