43 inch Immersive Display at Electronic Entertainment Expo

The Electronic Entertainment Expo or the E3 as it is popularly called served as the basis for Dell to display it’s immersive display technology. The 43-inch display also dubbed the CRVD display has been manufactured by Ostendo Technologies INC. US and the company now plans to develop and launch the display onto the market with assistance from Dell.

The immersive display currently is a prototype and it has been developed as the first perfected display  for video games.  The current prototype measures 103.6cm in length and 32.5cm in width with a screen size of 43-inches and the curvature radius of 122 cm.  It has a resolution of 2,880 x 900 coupled with a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and the response time is 0.016ms.With the final touches yet to be given, the CRVD display would be a perfect grab for gamers especially the fat cats.
